Welcome to Philadelphia Community Website

Big-city life is lived locally: on a block, along a familiar route, at a neighborhood business or in a nearby park. Philadelphia Community Website is an independent publication for people who want useful information about Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Our aim is to connect local decisions with everyday life. We will look for the places affected, explain the practical details and link to original sources so readers can follow the information further. A citywide headline should still help someone understand what it means close to home.

We are part of the Community-Websites.com network and are not affiliated with city government. Our starter coverage uses AI assistance and links to primary sources. Corrections, firsthand tips and suggestions for neighborhood coverage are welcome through our contact page.

Explore the news, community calendar, business directory and forum. When submitting a tip, include the location, date and a source or contact who can help verify it. Please distinguish a proposal from an approved decision and a future opening from a place already welcoming visitors.

The city-specific logo and landscape artwork are original illustrations, not official municipal symbols or documentary photographs.
